Nigerian business mogul Mr Obi Iyiegbu, known as Obi Cubana, was reported to have been in the office of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The CEO of Cubana Group of Companies visited the headquarter of the NDLEA in Abuja on Thursday and spent up to four hours in their custody.

The ‘Night Club’ magnate arrived at the NDLEA premises at about 9 am after an invitation from the agency.

An unconfirmed report linked the visit to some foreign transactions that involved substantial foreign currencies that needed clarifications.

The payments were reportedly made into Cubana’s account by convicted drug dealers from Malaysia, India and Nigeria.

The 46-year-old was said to have left the agency’s premises around 1:30 pm the same day, while he is yet to make a statement on the visit
